Histology #6 Connective Tissue

The first quiz, most folks did well. Two people I’ve never seen before showed up to take the quiz, we’ll see how they do and who they are.

Connective tissue, the glories of the spindle-shaped fibroblast, the myofibroblast. Extracellular matrix, which is NOT a movie with Keanu Reeves but everything made outside the cell. Collagen, all twenty-three (?) variants, and other fibers.

Assorted trivia, we wandered into Byzantine history with iconoclasts, and Roman gladiator fighting with retiarii
