The earth spins on though the void–and things change. You know summer is winding down when you start hearing the cicadas buzzing in the trees, and thumping down when they fall onto the driveway.
But it is coming on to fall. The marching band can be heard playing scales or destroying Cayuga’s Waters in the mornings. The football teams are practicing, and the first game was this Saturday. And this morning I woke up with a cat on my head. It was cool for the fist night in a while.
