A Good Question

AD asks, “What caliber for Bandersnatch?”  But what I want to know is, what caliber would you use for the Jabberwock?

Me, I’m thinking 230 grain 300 Win Mag.  I want some distance between me and that bad boy.

  1. Seeing as how he’s a winged creature, I’d go for the Ma Deuce in an anti-aircraft gun mount. .50 BMG oughta do a Jabberwock, I think.

Aim for the body, though, or you won;t have a head to go galumphing back with.

  2. Niven’s Jinxian Bandersnatch would require something along the lines of a 120mm tank gun.

  4. 300 Win Mag is not a bad choice, but I would go for the .50 BMG.

  6. According to Larry Niven, you’ll need something MUCH larger.
