William The Coroner’s Forensic Files

Is an interesting thing. I’ve met several people via blogging that have enriched my life tremendously. I’ve learned a lot about the crafts of medicine and teaching. I’ve kept in touch with people from far away. This is my blog. There are many like it, but this one is mine. I don’t use my name, but that could easily be discovered. I don’t write anything I wouldn’t sign my name to, and I don’t say anything that I would not want to see printed on the front page of the Plain Dealer.

I like it. It is practice writing. I know some old students read this. I want to keep it educational, and I like the freedom to talk about whatever strikes my fancy. Some folks sell ad space, I’m really rather thankful to avoid advertising on this space. Freedom of the press is now available to absolutely everyone, and I think that’s just amazing. Smart people with something to say can be read all over the world, for pennies.

In the last day or so, I had my 100,000th visitor.

  1. Geez. And I was excited to get my 5,000th hit recently.

Congrats, anyway. I enjoy the mixture of material you post.

  2. Congrats! I’m not sure how long it’s going to be before we are subjected to “limitations” in our freedom of speech… sigh…

  3. I enjoy reading your thoughts and opinions. Your an interesting person and you have a unique, expressive personality. I agree, opinions and commentary can be found in abundance, but intellect and common sense are not as discernible. Thanks for being open and sharing your voice.
