Pimp My Haiku

Sparrow is running her haiku contest again here. My two entries:

Despite what you do
And no matter who you are
Your pet will love you

Sleep is kin to death
Defenseless, unprotected
I’ll watch over you

Winner gets a care package sent to a serviceman in harm’s way. Right now, I’m leading, because I’m the only one who’s voted. Funny how that works. Go thou and read!

  3. You weren’t leading because you were the only one voting. . you were leading because that one drew many a sigh out here.
